How does Hypnotherapy change behaviour?
First, you need to understand that as whilst we are in the process of learning a behaviour, the process is a very conscious one, happening in the conscious mind, once however, that behaviour is learned, it works the unconscious mind controls it, and the behaviour just happens’.
For example:
When babies are learning to walk, you will notice that they have to concentrate really hard to get their balance and coordination right. However in adulthood, we all walk automatically without much conscious thought.
Over 90% of the behaviours we do are learned! The only behaviours you have not learned are those you were born with the ability to do. This means that if you are being held back in life by something you are doing, you can ‘unlearn’ or change that behaviour to something more useful.
Hypnosis helps you make those changes, by working directly where the ‘behaviours’ are located and making the changes in the unconscious mind.
