Self-Hypnosis CD’s
Self-hypnosis CD’s are a great way of working with hypnosis in the comfort of your own home, they give you access to the expereince and knowledge of a hypnosis practitioner, tailored to the specific area you would like to work on. They are also a great way to enhance any self-development you may have worked on in a hypnotherapy session.
As with all Therapy, we would recommend that you do a little reasearch on the author of the Hypnotic CD, to ensure that they have the knowledge and experience to create the product.
Meditation CD’s
Meditation CD’s are a little different, the aim of a meditation CD is to get you to deeply relax, and allow your mind to wander to the destination you have choosen, this could be working with your guides or chakras, or spending time purely letting go of day to day stress.
Both CDs, in our opinion, have really good benefits, taking time out or your day to spend focusing on self development can only be positive, and if your not sure where to start, then a Meditation or Self-hypnosis CD is a great tool to have.
Self-Hypnosis CD’s – Using them Effectively
Self-Hypnosis Cd’s are a great tool to help you improve your mind and body. To work effectively you need to use the CD more than once.
If you have purchased a CD, than you have an area of your life, that you would like to work on. Often it is a specific behaviour or habit, which could have been in existence for many years. In order to change this program/behaviour, it is important to listen to your self-hypnosis cd on a regular basis, ideally once a day for the first week or so, gradually reducing, as you feel the benefits working.
There are some people who get instant results and some that take a while, the more often you listen to the cd, the more often the subconscious hears the new idea, the quicker it will become a beneficial program or behaviour. Its the same pinciple as when your learn to do something new, the more often you practise the new skill, the quicker your become efficient at it
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy means hypnosis therapy. It an abbreviation for the original term “neuro-hypnotism” meaning “sleep of the nervous system” (from the Greek hypnos, “sleep”).
When someone is in a hypnotic trance it means that they are focusing on one thing to the exclusion of everything else. This is a natural state that we have all been in, and go in on a regualr basis.
Have you ever driven you car somewhere and when you arrive at your desination have no recollection of the actual journey? or been watching tv and not notice the phone ring? or how about when you have been concentrating on a book or some work and not notice someone talking to you?
The benefit of a hypntoic trance is that it bypasses a lot of the conscious questioning. This means that infomation can be recieved directly into your unconscious mind, where all your behavioural programs are stored, helping to improve these behaviours and/or emotional states as well as removing limiting beliefs.
NOTE
If you have any medical concerns or doubts or are under the supervision of a medical professional and/or receiving medication, always consult your medical professional. Our Meditation & Self-Hypnosis Cds are not intended to replace any medical help you may be receiving.
